CLAIRE INCE
(Co-Founder)
Claire Ince is an accomplished writer, producer, director whose work spans narrative and documentary storytelling.
An MFA graduate of New York University's Dramatic Writing Program, with a BA from Howard University, she is a 2024 Fellow of the prestigious Meryl Streep Writers Lab, and her documentary short "The Author Photo," which she directed and produced, was an official selection of the Venice California Fine Arts Film Festival and On Art Poland in 2020. As a writer/producer, Claire was the creative force behind the international movie musical "Bazodee," which she wrote and produced, won the Audience Award at the London Asian Film Festival in 2017 and the Real Time International Film Festival in Nigeria in 2022.
Claire's extensive experience and diverse range of clients and projects make her a valuable asset to any team seeking compelling storytelling. As a Senior Producer, she has worked on impactful short documentaries for The New York Times, the New York Historical Society, and branded storytelling for Mount Sinai, 1199SEIU Funds, and Child Mind Institute.
ANCIL MCKAIN
(Co-Founder)
Ancil McKain is an experienced director of photography and editor who brings a strong background in photography and visual design to every frame he shoots.
Ancil began his career in print design at the John S Donaldson Technical Institute in Trinidad and Tobago and transitioned to filmmaking through editing, developing his skills at New York City’s Edit Center. Ancil’s TV editing credits include the IFC Original Series “Film School” and he did film editing work on Evergreen, which premiered at Sundance Film Festival in 2004. As Director of Photography for Kicker Media, Ancil’s work was recognized with the official selection of “The Author Photo” for the Fine Arts Film Festival, Venice, California in 2020 where the film’s shooting style was praised for its intimacy and warmth. He also filmed “Hollywood Falls For Brooklyn”, a non-fiction short on film production which appeared in the New York Times.
As a producer, he produced the award-winning movie musical Bazodee (2015), starring Trinidad and Tobago's Machel Montano. With a wealth of experience in both fiction and non-fiction filmmaking, Ancil combines a passion for visual storytelling with technical expertise to ensure that each project he undertakes meets high quality standards and audience expectations.
